Much of this development has been preparing what I would say in any given scenario \u2013 and it\u2019s served me well. However, there is a saying that,\u00a0\u201c<em>God and the Devil laugh at those who make plans.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Conversations, just like life itself, don\u2019t always go as expected and what I had rehearsed I didn\u2019t always deliver.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategy &#8211; regain control and show credibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is where Think on your Feet\u00ae has excelled in providing me with strategies to maintain mutual respect, regain control and show credibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crossing the bridge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The bridging techniques\u00a0taught on Think on Your Feet\u00ae, mean that if I get a difficult question I can think rapidly about what I will say next. I\u2019m not floundering, waffling through some ill-thought out response.
