Well, for a start they are all experts in their chosen professions. \u00a0But, my reason for sharing is that they were all delegates at Indigo\u2019s August Think on Your Feet\u00ae<\/a><\/strong> workshop in London.\u00a0 Why? Because while they are\u00a0experts,\u00a0they\u00a0need help to sound like the\u00a0expert they are<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Trust me; with the professional credentials these\u00a0three experts have between them, it’s not hard to see why they have climbed so high in their professions.\u00a0 BUT just because you are technically equipped doesn’t always mean you can\u00a0get your message across with clarity, brevity and impact<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 Think on Your Feet\u00ae<\/a> gave them powerful (yet simple!) methods for packaging persuasion.<\/p>\n

I am constantly amazed at the dazzling\u00a0diversity of delegates that we get at this workshop.\u00a0 This issue of dealing with ad hoc questions, when you need to give an unprepared\u00a0answer, seems to be the backbone\u00a0of good leadership style and, ultimately,\u00a0your own career progression.<\/p>\n

I constantly hear delegates talking about “that rabbit in the headlights feeling”, or leaving a\u00a0meeting thinking: \u201cI wish I had said that\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Presentation skills workshops \u00a0focus on planned, structured, formal<\/strong> communications.\u00a0 But with an average of 80% of our daily communication being informal<\/span><\/strong> – aren’t we missing something in our training plans?<\/p>\n
